Basti | 30-60min

Basti is a traditional Ayurvedic treatment in which warm medicated oil is retained on specific areas of the body using a dough. It can be applied to different parts of the body depending on the area to be treated: lower back, neck, along the spine, lungs, liver, navel, bladder, knees. It is a local and therapeutic treatment preceded by a massage. It is used to deeply nourish and soothe the tissues, relieve chronic pain, promote digestion or balance the nervous system, depending on the area and the oil used.
Basti is usually integrated into a comprehensive therapeutic approach and requires a prior consultation to assess the person's condition, determine whether it is the appropriate treatment, and decide on the type of substance to be used, the frequency, and the location.

Udvartan | 75min

Stimulating and dynamic local Ayurvedic massage with herbal powders used to activate circulation, reduce body heaviness and support the metabolism. It is a local, therapeutic treatment preceded by an abhyanga massage. It is traditionally recommended in cases of toxin accumulation (ama), cellulite, fluid retention and kapha imbalances. The movements are vigorous, helping to stimulate elimination and promote weight management processes.

A preliminary consultation is required to determine the person's condition, whether the treatment is appropriate or not, the type of substance to be used, the frequency, and whether it is local or general.

Practical information for all body treatments:
-
It is necessary to inform me of any pathology or imbalance, as there are cases in which the massage is contraindicated;
-
Some contraindications include fever, flu, colds, mucus, sinusitis, bronchitis, pneumonia, chronic or widespread skin inflammation (eczema, active psoriasis, burns, etc.), diarrhea, vomiting, excessive weakness, heart disorders, phlebitis, cancer, significant psychiatric disorders, menstruation (not a contraindication, but Ayurveda does not recommend it because flow may increase, especially in pitta women);
-
Integration of the treatment is a very important part. It is advisable to allow yourself some quiet time after the session, so as to avoid returning directly to the hustle and bustle of everyday life;
-
Come on an empty stomach, or after having eaten something very light;
-
All massages and treatments are strictly therapeutic and professional. Any inappropriate behaviour or lack of respect will result in the immediate termination of the session, and the full amount will be charged;
-
There are no showers available after the massage, so please bring clothing that covers you but can get dirty (with oil).
